Pre-entry requirement
- Licence: Hold an EASA CPL(A) or ATPL(A) Licence
- Minimum English Language Proficiency Requirement: EASA/ICAO ELP Level 4. Applicants must hold a valid EASA/ICAO ELP Level 4 certificate or higher. If you do not yet have one, you can apply for certification here. Pass the entry English Test at Mach Aviation Academy.
- Medical: N/A.
- Knowledge, Skills, Attitude: Adequate knowledge of Human Performance and Limitations.
- Adequate personal attitude: Commitment to becoming a professional instructor.
- Experience: Adequate experience of the operational environment the trainer intends to instruct for. Min. 500 hours or 6 months active flying after the LIFUS is considered to be adequate.
- Others: If you hold an instructor rating in accordance with EU Commision Regulation 1178/2011 training times can be reduced from 30 hours (5 days) to 18 hours (3 days).
