What is the meaning of APS MCC?
The APS MCC goes beyond the standard MCC training by integrating advanced airline scenario-based instruction. This prepares you not just for the cockpit, but for real-world airline operations.
JOC, MCC & AAOST included
The APS MCC training begins with the Jet Orientation Course (JOC), which is designed to prepare pilots transitioning from piston-engine aircraft to jet airline operations. This phase focuses on building the essential mindset required to handle larger, faster, heavier, and more complex aircraft — a core component for any successful airline pilot. Check out JOC training here.
The next phase is MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation), focused on mastering the fundamentals of operating safely and efficiently in a multi-pilot environment under IFR conditions. With this training, you’ll acquire and practice the key skills needed to thrive in dynamic and challenging airline environments. (Check out MCC training here)
In addition to the core MCC and JOC training, we include Advanced Airline Operations Scenario Training (AAOST), which takes the course to Airline Pilot Standard (APS). This advanced training is designed to elevate your skills to the highest level, preparing you for the demanding realities of airline pilot operations.

Master the Core Airline Pilot Competencies
The APS MCC curriculum is built around the 9 core pilot competencies defined by EASA, which form the foundation of what airlines expect from their flight crew:
- Aeroplane Flight Path Management – with Automation
- Aeroplane Flight Path Management – Manual Control
- Application of Regulations and Procedures
- Situational Awareness and Information Management
- Application of Knowledge
- Communication
- Leadership and Teamwork
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
- Workload Management
These competencies are woven into every element of the course — theory, briefings, and hands-on simulator sessions — ensuring you’re not just learning how to fly in a multi-crew cockpit, but how to think, act, and lead like a professional airline pilot.
40 Hours in A320-Based Full Flight Simulation
During the practical phase, you will complete 40 hours of training in an A320-based simulator, flying side-by-side with our active airline instructors. These sessions are designed to replicate real airline line operations, giving you not just procedural knowledge, but the confidence and skill to manage real-world airline scenarios — all under the supervision of experienced A320 airline captains.
